Not much happening

Like the title says...not much happening my way. I have been grinding it out online in LL MTT's on Stars, and trying to see as many hands as I can. We are going to be having a local satillite to the Main Event of the Beau Rivages Spring Break Poker Classic coming soon. Those of you in my local network, you should be hearing something real soon. We are also working with a local company with another of the charity events. Hopefully, you will be seeing that on the site soon. I played at Boomtown last Wednesday when Bill had a nice finish. Have I ever said here how much I hate limit poker? Well...now I have. I have not seen people play so much trash in all my life than I saw last Wed. I mean, we all started out playing limit right? But man...I saw a guy raise pre-flop with 9-2 off...same with 8-2 off ...J-3 off...it did not matter. I saw a guy raise preflop with 9-1o off suit and get 7 callers then he C-Bet the flop when the flop came out A-K-6. I mean one of the other 7 people who called had to have an Ace or King in their hand...on and on.

Below is the last hand I busted out of on Stars:

YYYYeeeeaaaaaaaaaa...I must be playing bad. "mkaindaho" actually sucked out on the very next hand to win the tournament. This has been my life lately. When I can't get to a Casino, I play LL MTT's. I am headed to Lake Charles for work tonight, so I will fire a bullet at their weekly Wed re-buy tourney.

We are going on Goondingy's bachlor party this weekend, so I hope to have a couple of cool stories for you'll. We are planning on playing in a couple of tournaments, so hopefully one of us...Alex/Ray/Mitch/Bill...will do something in the tournaments.

I saw the movie "Even Money" last weekend. It was OK. Better than some of the other gambling movies. The quote below is what starts off the movie.

"But the truth is... we all want more. Some take a chance for the rush of winning. Some for love. But you can't have your dream without laying something on the line. The key is not to risk what you can't afford to lose. You might think you're different. But someday... you're gonna want more too. The question is... What are you willing to lay on the line?"
